Spring is a time of change and growth for all of nature. If you’re catching spring fever and want to enhance your body’s shape, this is the perfect time to consider Breast Augmentation because having surgery now means that you’ll be ready to look your best this summer.
What to expect if you call today:
Consultation – Your surgeon will listen to your concerns and expectations, discuss the procedure in detail, and educate you on your options to meet your goal. Your surgeon will then review implant sizes, shapes and textures and all other aspects of the surgery, including risks and recovery.
Pre-operative Visit– During your “pre-op” visit, you will meet with one of our Patient Advisors. Together you will review your pre-op packet which includes details on what to expect before, during and after surgery. Then a Registered Nurse will capture your medical history and vital signs. If you are over 40, you will be required to have a mammogram before your surgery.
Surgery – The day of your surgery, you will arrive at our onsite surgical facility, the Clarkview Surgery Center, or your designated hospital. Breast Augmentation surgery generally lasts 1 hour. Recovery is different for everyone, but patients usually remain in the recovery room for approximately 1 hour. Once discharged, we recommend you go home and rest, sitting upright, for the remainder of the day.
Recovery – Most patients return to work within a week. We recommend that patients wear a support bra for at least 3 – 6 weeks for optimal results. Your breast implants will “drop” or settle into their proper position in approximately 6-12 weeks – just in time for summer!
By Summer, you will be ready to wear the summer clothing of your choice: swimwear, tank tops, sundresses and more.
