Laser Peel Treatments in Baltimore
We all want to maintain our healthy, firm and young looking skin. However, due to age, genetics and environmental exposures, the collagen within our skin begins to diminish as early as age thirty. The Laser Peel treatment uses advanced laser technology to help rebuild your own natural collagen and reduce the signs of aging – in as little as one treatment.
What is a Laser Peel?
A Laser Peel is a “thermal peel,” performed by a board certified skin and laser specialist, that corrects the signs of aging. It is a safe and highly effective treatment for improving pigment irregularities, textural problems, lines and wrinkles. Most patients report a significant improvement in their skin’s condition after one treatment. Just as we aerate our lawns to grow thick, healthy grass, a Laser Peel uses a similar concept to thicken your skin and stimulate natural collagen growth. After a Laser Peel treatment, you will immediately begin to experience tighter and rejuvenated skin.

How do laser peels work?

What should I expect during my Maryland laser peel treatment?*
First, a topical numbing lotion is applied to the treatment area for 30 minutes to provide comfort. During the treatment, you will feel heat in the areas being treated, followed by a “sunburn” sensation. Cool compresses and soothing ointments are then applied to the face for additional comfort. Laser Peel treatments last about 20 minutes.
What should I expect afterwards?*
Laser Peels provides big results with a relatively short down time. On average, sunblock and make-up may be applied in approximately three to four days following treatment. Skin tightening results are immediate and continue to improve up to six months.
