Facial Rejuvenation—Your Way

Ask people about their #1 facial aging complaint, and you’ll get a variety of answers: sagging cheeks, growing jowls, deep wrinkles, and tired eyes are top gripes amongst the over-40 crowd. But while these complaints may be common, treatments for facial aging should be completely individualized. We like to use a comprehensive approach to facial rejuvenation, starting with the skin and moving on to the eyes, neck, and finally to concerns about sagging skin.

Our goal is to create a comprehensive treatment plan that is customized to your particular areas of concern. Using a balanced approach to full facial rejuvenation allows us to achieve a youthful transformation that enhances your natural beauty.

Treating the skin

The skin often shows the first telltale signs of aging, in the form of fine lines, wrinkles, and discoloration, so it’s no surprise that skin renewal is often the first step in facial rejuvenation. We start with a digital VISIA complexion analysis to get a detailed picture of your skin above and below the surface. This help us find the right treatment program for your skin type and needs.

Laser or IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments are an effective way to reduce brown spots and redness or reduce fine lines, wrinkles and scars with little to no downtime. Dermal fillers like Juvéderm®, Restylane® or fat injections add volume just where you need it, filling in creases around the nose, mouth or eyes to refine facial contours. For brow furrows, crow’s feet or frown lines, Botox® or Dysport® treatments provide excellent smoothing effects that last for months.

Treating the upper face

Many of our eyelid patients feel that they always look tired, and an eyelid lift helps you look more energetic, creating more youthful-looking lids by eliminating sagging skin and fat deposits. This procedure can be done alone or in combination with other facial procedures; for example, a brow lift may complement the eyelid lift by returning the brow to a more youthful position. For those with less dramatic age-related changes, we might suggest an endoscopic brow lift instead, which has smaller incisions and a quicker recovery than the standard brow lift. An eyelid lift can also improve your eyesight if the excess skin hampers your peripheral vision.

Treating the neck and jawline

If you’re noticing laxity in your neck and chin, but are not quite ready for a surgical approach, a Precision TX treatment may be just the ticket. Designed to reduce jowling and tone delicate skin, the procedure takes only about 90 minutes and will give you a more sculpted, youthful-looking neck and jawline. The instruments used in this laser-assisted, fat-melting procedure are so small that they leave virtually no scars and you only need local anesthesia! The treatment also increases collagen production in the treated area—a win-win situation for sure.

Treating the lower and mid-face

If you’re starting to notice sagging around the face and neck, consider a MACS lift. This “mini” facelift produces natural-looking results with a less involved procedure and a quick recovery, excellent for addressing the early signs of aging and postponing the need for a full facelift. For those with more advanced signs of aging, a facelift restores the cheeks and neck to a more naturally youthful position. By firming loose, droopy facial skin and removing excess, sagging skin, a facelift can help you look younger and more refreshed for years to come.

So how do you know which approach is right for you? Schedule a consult with one of our board-certified plastic surgeons so they can listen to your concerns and suggest a personalized treatment program. We look forward to helping you rejuvenate your face—your way.
